Failed and rejected generations do not consume your allowance. The preview step exists so the expensive render only ever runs on something you already approved.
The cost is shown before it is spent
Every job carries a predicted quality, cost and latency before it starts. You decide whether a shot is worth the premium model or the cheap one — or you let the router decide and watch it explain why.
Credits do not silently expire
